This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My scholars are rock stars! We are part of a Title I school and 77% of my students come from low socioeconomic families, but learning is one thing that keeps on going!
My students give me the drive and purpose.
When they are at school, they are lighthearted, driven scholars; and there with a purpose to learn. They put aside their external concerns to just enjoy being at school and being surrounded by their supportive peers and educators.
My students and I work as a supportive team to help each other grow academically, socially, and emotionally. This year will be a totally new challenge for our class as we start the year remote learning. It will all be online and we hope to return back to the classroom soon.
This is an investment you won’t regret because my students become one step closer to being college-prepared and empowered lifelong learners. So many workplace professionals are produced in schools. My students are striving daily to become global citizens who will make a positive difference in the world regardless of their background or socioeconomic status. My Project
A color printer is needed to replace my older color printer. It has broke after 4 years of use in the classroom. My school does not provide a classroom printer and the previous one was teacher purchased. Having a color printer in the classroom provides instant access for students and the teacher. With more technology being incorporated now, students want to see their digital work in person. With school going back to in person next week, it would be amazing to showcase their digital work around the room as well. The printer will ensure we have all the materials the students need to learn, create, and engage!
