I teach students in multiple grade levels and I only have digital access to most of the workbooks and materials we use. I am unable to print in color as often as I need for my students therefore I am limited with the materials I can use to engage my students. My school is only able to print in black and white and this does not provide the vibrant and engaging pictures and colors that students need to stay motivated during lessons.
A color printer is needed to print workbooks, lesson materials and leveled books for students to read, which would support vocabulary and the content they are learning.
Highlighters will help my students focus on specific details and make colors pop.
Since most students rely on pictures to read, having materials printed in color will make a huge difference in their ability to learn new things. The vibrant colors and interesting pictures will also help develop their expressive language.
