My students need a color printer and cartridges to create visuals for communication and learning.

My Students

My students have no verbal communication skills due to their severe disabilities. Give my students a voice!

My students are children with significant medical, physical and intellectual disabilities.

They are 3 to 5 years old, and they are only beginning to communicate through pointing. They attend a special day class for early intervention. They have a desire to make choices and explore learning.

My Project

I believe a color printer will help create visual aides for children to communicate by making choices. Color images make the items more real to life, and motivate students more than black and white images. The students will learn matching pictures for vocabulary and communication purposes.

This project will impact my students by allowing them access to a variety of colored pictures, and learning opportunities.

Access to colored pictures helps them have a means for communicating their choices.
