Help me give my students paper to feel the 2D world in color!
FULLY FUNDED! Mr. Johnston's classroom raised $778
This project is fully funded
Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Young people today should be able to touch, feel and annotate the two-dimensional world in color. As young people have dived deep into their screens to see the world during COVID, we see an increasing need for students to color and draw on actual paper.
This color printer would allow the young historians of the BSSJ to analyze maps, paintings, and photographs of archives in color.
This would greatly allow the students to work on their own in stations, instead of coloring off of our projected images. When students are researching their own projects, a color printer would allow them to create portfolios and image references that greatly increase their appeal to their peers. The political situation in New York City has greatly left a need for further funding for Title 1 Schools. We seek that you can help our school get the materials our students deserve.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
