My Project

Please support our 12th-grade classroom to build targeted reading, writing, and speaking tasks using color-coded paper.

Color paper will support targeted reading, writing, and speaking skill awareness for seniors to develop specific career and college-ready learning goals!

Every unit of study requires students to independently apply their skills to show growth over time. While many tasks utilize reading, writing, and speaking, we use colored paper to signal the area that is targeted for assessment.

The color signals support students' metacognition and awareness of the particular skill muscles they are flexing, which leads to stronger independence beyond the classroom.
