This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This project will help provide my students with art materials to help grow their fine motor skills and encourage imagination. Many of these children do not use their fingers to help navigate their environment and education due to lack of desire to touch and manipulate certain textures or lack of exposure at home or in school. By providing us with these materials, my students can learn with a hands-on approach. My students, generally, do not engage with craft-like materials which they crave and need for growing in their academic lives.
