My Students

I teach in a small and rural school in western Kansas. Our elementary school has a total of 20-25 students enrolled. There is a wide variety of interests among our students. We have the privilege of being small enough that everyone is like family.

Since we are so small, we do so many activities together to make that family connection stronger.

My Project

I am asking for a color printer that our elementary students can have quick access too. In 3rd-5th grades we are constantly working on projects that require our students to research. When they are making posters and other visuals they would like to print pictures off to enhance their project, but currently cannot.

Our students also like to take finished reports and essays home to their parents.

Currently the only way to do this is to have the teacher print is off for them in black and white. By having a colored printer they can access can help the teachers and allow students to take original works home.
