My students need a color printer and ink so that I can print colorful learning materials that will keep my students interested and motivated to learn more.

My Students

My Preschool classroom is a half-day program in a public school that students attend Monday-Thursday. This school year I will have 22 students in my AM class and 21 students in my PM class. Students in my classroom are 3-5 years old. Thirty of my students are grant students, meaning that their family income is below 200% of the poverty level.

My students are capable, enthusiastic learners who are rich with wonder and knowledge!

I believe that every child brings with them curiosity and potential. That innate curiosity drives their interest to understand their world and place in it. A literacy rich environment is important as well as an emergent curriculum that is inspired by the interests of the children.

My Project

Having access to a color printer and a good supply of ink will allow me to print engaging items that will be used in our classroom. My Teachers Pay Teachers account is full of items that I have purchased that are just waiting to be printed. A few of the items that are waiting to be printed are:

* Classroom Labels that will help create a print rich

environment and will visually support children at clean up

* STEM I Can Build Cards that will be displayed in the block

area to give students the opportunity to be creative,

problem solve and develop math concepts

* Materials that will be used to create Literacy & Math learning games

I have chosen a printer that is eligible for the Insta Ink program so that when my ink supply runs out I can sign up for an affordable ink plan that allows me to print a certain number of pages a month.
