Color Our World

My special education students need a color printer, a laminating machine and laminating pouches.

This project is fully funded

I have a Special Education Inclusion classroom in a large urban high school. All of my students spend the majority of their day in General Education classrooms. I have students of all levels of ability and adapt the curriculum to meet their needs.

With so many classes, learning styles, and levels of ability, I have to make a huge variety of materials for my students. Each adaptation is meant to access the students' knowledge and show mastery of the subject so that they can qualify to enter college without modified grades.

If I had a color printer and laminator with pouches, I could make the most accessible, long lasting materials available to my students. The color materials would allow much better graphic representations of the curriculum and would engage my learners more. By laminating these materials I could make them more durable so that they could remain with the student for years to come, or the materials would become part of a library of materials for future students in the classroom.

Please help me support my students so that they have the best chance to succeed like their general education peers. Help them to show that they have the knowledge and ability to continue on to college or the job of their dreams.
