Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Colorful watercolors and watercolor paper help my student to represent the beauty in the world and in their environment. I hope to teach my students about nature and space through art. Having these vibrant watercolor paints will help my students to see and internalize the beauty of their world. Doing art helps my students to remember what they have learned. Having the colorful carpet will remind them to add color to their art and it will give them a softer seat at the floor when working at the back of the room.

Colorful watercolor paints and paper, along with a colorful carpet, will help my students to explore the arts and sciences in depth and in a fun way.

We will be exploring nature and space in the next couple of months. I hope to teach these topics through art with these watercolors.
