Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I’m lucky to teach some of the most creative and curious students around! Whether they’re in Design and Modeling, Space and Flight, Robotics, or Computer Science for Makers, my students are constantly dreaming up bold, imaginative ideas—and thanks to Color Our World 3D!, they'll have the colorful materials they need to bring those ideas to life. What I love most about them is their fearless approach to learning. They show up ready to experiment, design, problem-solve, and create, always with big ideas and even bigger determination.
Thanks to our amazing Ender 3 printers—generously donated through a previous DonorsChoose.org project—and our brand new Raise3D printer, we now have the tools to take student creations to the next level.
All we need now is a vibrant supply of PLA filament to keep those printers running! In Design and Modeling, students are building custom furniture prototypes. In Space and Flight, they're crafting and testing aerodynamic rocket parts. Our Robotics team is designing and printing components for their bots, while Computer Science for Makers students are coding and printing personalized inventions. Each new color of filament helps students explore their creativity, visualize their thinking, and build confidence in their abilities.
This project isn’t just about plastic—it’s about bringing imagination to life in full color. With your support, we’ll keep our 3D printers buzzing and give every student the chance to dream big and build even bigger. Thank you for helping us Color Our World 3D!
