This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This project is geared toward seeking funding for art supplies to ensure that every student has access to the tools they need to succeed. In our Humanities class, we take a lot of pride and spend a great amount of time on projects to help deepen our understanding of ancient civilizations. Many of my students come from diverse backgrounds, and not all have the means to bring their own materials. By providing these essential art supplies, I can create a more equitable environment where each student can participate fully and confidently.

My goal is to remove barriers that might otherwise limit some students' ability to engage in our projects, allowing them to explore their creativity and connect with the content in meaningful ways.

Each of my students is unique, bringing special perspectives, talents, and enthusiasm to the classroom. With the right resources, I can empower them to express themselves, learn together, and develop a sense of belonging, knowing they have everything they need to thrive.
