Kindergarten is an amazing group of young people to teach. They are always so enthusiastic about learning. They have the biggest hearts and love everyone and everything. I can't wait to teach them about the world and each other.
Their curiosity, endless love and energy drive me as a teacher.
They come in every day ready to greet each other with hugs, high fives, or handshakes. I like to build upon this automatic sense of community each year by providing my students with choice, hands-on activities, and a safe and fun learning environment.
So many engaging teaching resources are available to download at my fingertips but I don’t have access to a color printer to make them. I want to give my students abc materials and pictures that are in color. I would like to print out easy reader books for each student to read in color. I would also like to print out new center games that will engage them. The more authentic and colorful our materials are the more engaged my students will be. Please help me color their learning environment instead of always having things in boring black and white.
