My Project

Because so much of Biology is internal and the processes are complex, it helps to have visual representations. Colors have been shown to help students remember important information.

Making diagrams beautiful and labeling them with colors and keys help students understand the process of modeling along with helping them to better visualize the parts or processes that they are required to learn.

My students, like most, are hard workers who need as many different ways to learn as they can get. They often struggle with abstract ideas and concepts and remembering key information so having visuals is a way to help them understand the parts of an organism or steps in a process. And making them pretty and colorful helps them remember the key parts.
