My Project

My 6th grade artists have worked very hard as I transform my English classroom into an art class. Within the first month of the school year, 15 students had their work displayed in a gallery. This was impressive because our classroom was not set up to be an art studio yet this did not stop them from creating quality work.

The supplies I have chosen will allow my students to thrive in an organized classroom where materials will be easy-to-find.

Having systems in place to keep supplies organized by color and medium, will give students easier access to materials and encourage them to try new mediums.

As we continue the year, new mediums will be introduced and having a classroom that is visually stimulating and organized will be a great atmosphere for creating 6th grade masterpieces!
