My students need new markers, crayons and colored pencils. I would also like to "wake up" my bulletin boards with new paper and borders.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Do you remember working on projects in school and using different colors to display your work? Well my students are using markers that are almost dried out, broken colored pencils and tiny crayons.
My students are 8th grade students that love to learn.
They look forward to health class and the different adventures we take each class. These students are from a low income area and most of them do not have parent support. They need this class to learn about different facts and skills that will teach them how to behave in the real world.
My Project
During the school year, my students complete many different projects. Having the right tools for the job is very important. Markers, colored pencils, and crayons help bring all their projects alive. I love displaying the work that my students complete, but my bulletin boards are boring and plain. The paper I requested will help display student work within my classroom in a more dynamic way.
By donating these supplies you are directly helping my students do better in class.
With better school supplies, they will try harder and take pride in their work. When provided with the right tools, you can see in their eyes, the passion and desire to do their very best.
