Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students grade level is actually Transitional Kindergarten which means they are 4 years old and turning 5 during the school year. At this age, they need to see and feel things as they are. I often make vocabulary cards and discussion cards to go with our leaning theme and read a louds.
When I print vocabulary cards, discussion cards and pictures of them doing their work it is more engaging when it is in color.
However, my school only has a black and white printer for teachers to use. Several years ago, I was able to get a color printer for my classroom so that I could print in color to enhance their learning, but unfortunately I am out of color ink and in need of more.
