This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

A typical day in my classroom is fun with lots of hands-on learning. My students are so eager to learn and love school so much. They get excited about new things and new topics we learn about.

We are in desperate need of a color ink for our printing the classroom!

The school copier/printer only prints in black and white and we have noticed a huge difference in the engagement and interest level young students have just by giving them center material that has color! We print out flashcards, Play-Doh mats, games and so much more in our learning centers and we need them to be in color. Please help our classroom get some color and fun added to our daily work.

Every other week we have new themes so we are always printing and updating our materials as the year goes on. Any help will go a long way for our little learners!

Most of my students come from lower-income families and one hundred percent of my campus receives free lunch. My students are very young and love helping me out. My students typically come from all sorts of backgrounds, things other people may not be experiencing at their homes.

Students need school for social, emotional, and academic growth. ​Your support will allow our students to have materials and tools to foster lifelong learning. Our school is a place where they can get their needs met both emotionally and physically. I want to ensure my students feel safe and want to come to school.
