This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Color Inspires and Ignites is a project I am doing in the classroom to make a more comfortable atmosphere for learning as well as to teach skills and do it in color. The most crucial item I am requesting is the place value whiteboards. Many students, majority of freshmen, have a hard time grasping place value and number sense. Having the boards available to show them visually would be a major assist.

Brightening up the classroom with color creates a warm and inviting atmosphere where students are more likely to complete work.

Colored fadeless bulletin board paper would help create a calming atmosphere around the classroom. Our mascot is the owl, so to have bulletin border of owls would go along with our school culture.
