This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Special education students need visuals and things printed in color. Our school district provides us with one set of colored ink cartridges a year, and then we are to survive without them for the rest of the year, until next school year. The colored printer we have has 4 ink cartridges and we have a team of 9 teachers with over 50 students that are using this printer.

This printer gets used for visuals for academics, communication devices, behavior supports and much more!

The ink is so important for so many reasons for our students success. We use it for academics, to provide different teaching aides in color, to show them how to do things. We print communication visuals to help them talk and express themselves. We print behavior supports such as token boards, rewards and first/then charts.
