Help me give my students an opportunity to be instructed with materials that will support each student with retaining instructional topics and details.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I work at a Chicago public neighborhood school currently with sixth, seventh and eighth grade students of various ability levels. My students are primarily diverse learners that have Individual Education Plans (IEPs) in the general education setting and the separate setting.
My students are visual, auditory and kinesthetic learners that learn best through a multi-sensory instructional approach.
My current classroom is in a kindergarten through eighth grade school building; however, most of these students are in this separate classroom, my classroom, for at least 60% of the school day. I work with a variety of age groups within our school.
I work at an outstanding school and with hard working and collaborative teachers and staff members. We share a great deal of our resources whenever possible. Thank you for looking at my page.
My Project
I am an instructor of students with diverse learning abilities. The majority of the students that we work with have unique learning styles. This is where a possible opportunity to have a classroom color laser printer will be very helpful.
Life is always a little more exciting with a splash of color!
Having an option to print color copies to further demonstrate what items such as graphs from Science and Math questions are attempting to illustrating. Color copies will also allow students to see illustrations in stories when appropriate.
