My Students
Our school has a large number of students who receive free or reduced-price lunch, special education services, 504 services, and/or Title I services. The diverse population of students I have requires great differentiation within the classroom, so our learning environment can be helpful for everyone.
My fifth graders are fostering their growing independence, practicing greater responsibility, and working on thinking outside of the box.
I want to have an amazing classroom community and relationships with them before they are off to the middle school.
My Project
My fifth graders love color. It's eye-catching and fun. To be able to print things for them, from mini posters, graphic organizers, anchor charts, or photos of their classmates to help build community in the classroom would be so amazing.
This all in one color printer will allow students to feel excited and empowered when publishing their work.
So many times students would LOVE to be able to put a picture on a report or flyer when we are working on persuasive writing, but it doesn't have the same appeal in greyscale. This printer is amazing with the number of prints it is able to do as well! The investment would last our classroom for years, and the maintenance fees for replacement inks are very affordable.
