Color Coding for Accomplishment!

Help me give my students color coded tools to organize our two large Dual Immersion classrooms, Spanish language books of high interest to improve their MAD Spanish skills, and motivating items for our class store.

My Project

My two Dual Immersion classes are filled with a diverse mix of highly motivated students who are excited to learn and grow every day. They work hard, strive for success and are organized and responsible. The materials we have ordered will enhance our classroom organization through color coordination. Different colored boxes for each class will help them quickly identify their materials. Specific colored white board markers aid in quickly identifying the messages and assignments for their individual class. My students LOVE knowing where to look for success!

Collaborating to enhance understanding of new concepts is a powerful learning strategy.

Chart paper will be a great tool in this endeavor. Clipboards will facilitate the recording of their ideas, and the markers are color coded for ease in sharing within and between the classes.

My Spanish Dual Immersion classes LOVE to read in both English and Spanish. Reading books that they are familiar with in their primary language, in Spanish builds vocabulary and helps solidify their language skills. They will be SO excited to see the Magic Tree House books in Spanish! Finally, nothing is more motivating than class store....if there are awesome things to purchase with their hard-earned class money. The kids will be thrilled to see the fun things available for them to buy!
