This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My first graders this year are eager and excited to learn to read. The best teaching environments are motivating, organized and easy to navigate. These little scholars respond well to color coded materials and can easily access their learning centers when they know exactly where to go and what to do. Many of our kiddos are multilingual learners and colors are a universal language. Each literacy group will have a color of their own and will easily be able to identify their centers and materials independently and successfully as I take small groups for targeted skills instruction to meet all learners needs!
