Color Code Ozobots!

My Project

Ozobots are small robots that do not require a computer to be coded. A sensor below the robot can detect colors and students can code the Ozobot by drawing lines using red, blue, black or red in different order.

We currently have seven Ozobots, and students love using them, but students often have difficulty copying the coding colors exact enough for the sensor on the Ozobot to follow the codes they've written.

I recently discovered the Color Code magnets, which are a perfect solution to this problem! Students can arrange the magnet tiles on the platform in the base kits to ensure the robots follow the code they've planned. Students can learn the basics of coding without the hastle of logging into a computer program or worrying if the Ozobot will detect the lines they draw.
