My Project
When I use colored paper for my class assignments, my goal is to create a visually interesting learning environment that supports all of my students. Changing from standard white copy paper will help students be more engaged with the learning of my science standards.
Students will improve their organization in their notebooks and have a uniquely structured notebook.
By color-coding assignments, students can distinguish different types of learning in my class. Colored paper can be used for learning assignments, student reflections, and assessment of student understanding. Using color helps students with a positive learning environment by making the learning process a bit more exciting and creative.
My students are unique in that there are varying backgrounds and ability levels in my classroom. Some students come in with minimal resources and support from their homes, while other students have fully supportive parents who help their students invest in their learning. I try my best to maintain a level of equity in my class for all students so that every student has the same opportunity to learn.
