Your generous donations helped create a welcoming, colorful, and safe environment for me to welcome my students to their new Spanish course. The welcome sign provided one of the first words my Spanish 1 students learned in the target language. The social emotional posters with words of affirmation (in the target language) are daily reminders for my AP Spanish students that they are valued, capable, and that they can do hard things. The welcome mat sets the stage for students to use the target language the minute they enter class.\r\n\r\nA favorite of the many donations has been the standing desk. Students use it anytime they present projects to their classmates.
