In our new high school, teachers move classrooms like in a college, which means our whiteboards and wall spaces aren't our own! I want my students collaborating and talking about all things social studies, and I need to do that in a way that is portable and easily put away before the next teacher gets there.
These clipboards and large poster paper enable me to set up stations for collaboration easily and just as easily put them away in between classes.
Making large movable posters and anchor charts helps all students see each other's thinking. Having clipboards allows them to move around the classroom easily and take their work with them. We have project studio spaces for students to use and these are easily movable supplies.
