College Prepared to Be College Bound

Help me give my students the supplies discussed in summer AP Training for AP Environmental Science. Help my students start off on the right foot!

My Project

My students did so well throughout the year in AP Environmental Science last year. However, when it came to the exam, they were ultimately underprepared because I was underprepared as their teacher. This summer, I have participated in College Board training for AP Environmental Science teachers and have been participating in professional development. From these learning opportunities, I have found new strategies and techniques to help increase my students' abilities to succeed on the AP Exam.

My students deserve to be set up for success just like any other student in the country taking the same AP Exam as them.

These supplies will allow for that. I will be implementing new labs such as the Owl Pellet and the felt to demonstrate primary productivity. I will be focusing my work on using a textbook and the post-its will allow students to mark up their texts without damaging them. Students need to write in black pen on the AP Exam, so this year I want them to start off the year writing in pen and learning how to think through ideas before putting pen to paper (literally).

I have spent my summer learning, please help me through your donation to teach all that I have learned and set my students up better than last year. I know they can do it, and these supplies will help with that too!
