Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
We are excited for our GEAR UP First-Gen Seniors as they head off to their post-secondary education. We want to celebrate all of their success at our college decision day celebration. We are a Title One school district and we are excited for our students to break any generational stigma as they pursue their passions.
These items will help our First Gen-Seniors and them get started on their post-secondary education or even settle into their new dorms rooms away from home.
We are sure that these items will help them on their transition. The laptops and mini refrigerators will be beneficial and it will lift any financial burden their families may be feeling. Your donation will help in many ways and our students will feel supported.
