My students have been working hard all year long on community service projects and STEM related activities. They have created picture frames for nursing home patients, raised money for breast cancer awareness, adopted a hospital wing for cancer patients in which they gave get well cards to the patients, created a gift basket to a breast cancer survivor, and coordinated a STEAM Night event for the community.
These students are very compassionate and caring.
They love to help people and raise awareness about certain needs of the community.
My students have been involved with so many service learning projects while enrolled in the STEM and Health Science Club and the I Matter Club. We have five outstanding individuals that have worked extra hard at completing the projects and going above and beyond what I have asked them to do. I feel that they should be rewarded with backpacks and school supplies that they will use when they go off to college. They will continue to do service learning by reaching out to those who are in need. They have distinguished themselves by their dedication and loyalty to each organization.
These students deserve to be recognized for all of their efforts while enrolled in these extra-curricular clubs.
