My Project

This is my first year as the librarian at my school. My students have been amazing. They come into my library throughout the day for almost everything. The library offers a safe place for them, friendly conversation, snacks, technological help, books, study areas, and advice.

What is missing?

They do not have the resources to guide them to their next phase in life. I am trying to design an area in the library with materials about careers, colleges, and life skills. Currently, this "College & Career Corner" has 30 resources. It is bare and needs love.

My students would love an area to relax, read about future options, and then discuss them with caring adults. Funding this project would be the first step toward this goal.
