Help me give my students the art supplies to nurture their creative minds. Paper and a variety of collaging materials will help my students create various artistic projects and help them to realize their visions.
My students are highly motivated to learn. Children who are eager to learn need to be offered varied instructional opportunities. Pre-kindergarten is where many of our students will develop their lifelong love of learning. Many of our students are coming to us from lower-income households of diverse backgrounds.
As an educator, I strive to create an exciting environment where we take chances, discover, and excel.
Building a strong foundation is the key to future learning success. Without that strong start, the foundation of education will crumble. My ultimate goal is to give students a lifetime love of learning for their future success.
My Project
By providing a large variety of materials to be available to my students to create art throughout the day it will enable them to put their creativity and thoughts on paper.
When they create a project, it allows for them to be individually expressive while allowing them to also become more verbal when communicating what their project is and how they went about creating it.
Children of this age group are not always able to verbalize their thoughts but through artistic outlets can become more confident and independent. This also helps our ELL learner who have not yet developed language skills to be fully expressive of their thinking.
