My Project

Technology changes all the time. My library was renovated approximately a decade ago and in that time students have gone from no 1-to-1 technology to MacBooks to iPads. My library has four collaboration stations for students to use when working on group projects.

With changes in technology, my students need adapters to use the collaboration stations built into the library.

I selected iPad adapters to connect to the screens in the collaboration stations. As well, I chose surge protectors to charge their iPads while they are working.

Since I started at my middle school library this year, I have partnered with subject area teachers to have students work on Guided Inquiry and group projects. These adapters and surge protectors will give the students more space to collaborate and bring technology into their projects.
