My Project

My students need standing whiteboards to develop their critical thinking and collaboration skills. We are in the early stages of implementing thinking tasks using the Building Thinking Classrooms approach. Currently, my students end up crowded together due to limited wall and whiteboard space.

These standing whiteboards will allow my small groups to work comfortably on collaborative learning tasks in math, science, social studies and language arts!

Rolling whiteboards will give us the flexibility to have groups spread out across the room. I also love the fact that the whiteboards are double-sided. If the students run out of space, they can always switch to the other side!

For students who need additional teacher support, I have included some personal dry erase pockets and photo boxes that will be used to create task box based centers for small group reinforcement of challenging skills.
