My Students

I teach an amazing group of Second Graders! We work as a team of learners to achieve goals of kindness and academic success. My students aim to be "Bucket Fillers" by treating others with respect and trying to do good along the way.

These students are part of a Title 1 school and resources are needed to support their academic growth.

Despite this fact, they are hard-working, well-behaved and oh so kind. They deserve to come to school everyday and love what they are doing. I do my best to give them everything they need to be the best learners they can possibly be.

My Project

My students are anxious to learn and grow together! We need your help to give us the space they need to collaborate together on a group rug, yet define the space enough to allow for personal boundary separation to keep everyone comfortable. The rug I am requesting is bright, colorful, and cheerful. It will enhance the visual appeal of our learning space.

This new rug will function not only as a group instruction space, but also a place for my students to collaborate with each other to continue their learning.

It will provide them a comfortable place to partner read with each other, peer edit each others writing, and work on collaborative projects!
