Help me give my students Soft skills needed for Real life Experiences by communicating effectively ideas and their learning through the convenience of sitting at a table a family who agree and disagree passionately but still embrace differences
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Project
Our students want to be accepted , share their ideas and learn to embrace and promote their own ideas and others. Help give my students the tools to do so.
This particular piece of furniture a modern set of table and 4 chairs, will help me give my students a setting that is less intimidating then the usual classroom furniture , which is less friendly at the middle school level.
My students will be able to focus on topics that interest them and accept the ideas of their peers, through collaborative seating arrangement.
This will foster among my middle school scholars, the sense of healthy collaboration, where they can agree and disagree amicably on teacher generate topics or topics that are of interest to them during the genius hour or Inquiry Based Learning Block. This will allow for easy access to technology where they can place their devices and share and promote their learning and the learning of their peers.
I will be able to create flexible grouping for students that need peer to peer support and feedback .
