Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students love hands on learning! The magnetic blocks and building materials allow my students to practice collaboration.
My students need multiple opportunities to experience the give and take of working with others.
The puppets give my students a voice! They will be able to practice having conversations, telling stories and taking turns with the puppets. Puppets help my shy students to communicate without feeling nervous or self conscious. I chose several different types of puppets to allow for different topics of conversation.
Collaboration and teamwork are such an important life skill. These items will empower my students to practice collaboration in a fun way. STEM activities are always a favorite activity for my students! Thanks in advance for your support!
