Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are a group of wonderfully bright and optimistic kiddos who come from struggling low income households. Many of my students are learning English as a second language. All of my students qualify for free or reduced lunch.
Students are eager to learn and grow.
They inspire me to give my best each and every day because they are depending on me, and our future depends on them.
My students are happy children that love to learn!
My Project
The use of these team building boards, parachutes and other team building games will be used to build a sense of community within our classroom. It is important that students feel that our classroom is a team that not only works together but also plays together.
Team building leads directly to better communication within students and higher self confidence and increased performance in the classroom.
Our classroom will benefit from team building activities because students will learn to trust one another and work together towards a common goal. Team building activities also help students feel accountable not only to their teachers but also to their classmates and teammates. We are all in this together!
