My Students

My students are eager to learn and never stop asking questions. They are thoughtful, kind, and resourceful!

My students often are asked to do so much while having so little.

I am trying my best to close the achievement gaps that occur throughout their educational careers. I want them have what they need in order to be successful while at school.

My students love science and hands on experiences! They are always asking when we are going to do our next science experiment. They love to work together in groups, when they are able to talk about their learning, they are able to retain the information. I think collaboration is a huge part of the learning process and my students are fabulous at doing so!

My Project

I meet with my students in small groups to either solidify their learning or reteach a skill. I currently have a small rectangle table that only allows me to see 4 students at a time. I would like to get a larger small group table that would allow me to see more students at a time!

When meeting in a small group setting students are more likely to share their voice because they are more likely to be heard.

Having a large enough table will help with our collaboration skills and allow for students to be engaged in the content they are learning.
