My Students
I am an ENL teacher in a Title I school and I service students in grades 1 - 3. All of my students are English Language Learners and a portion of them have special needs.
My students are a unique bunch of excited and motivated learners, all eager to learn English and develop foundational skills.
They come from various cultural backgrounds and have a variety of home languages and academic needs and abilities. They love using technology and collaborating in small groups. My students are eager to explore topics through reading, writing, math, etc. They love to learn new vocabulary and new information. I strive to create fun and engaging learning opportunities to support all of my students.
My Project
Please help me give my students a kidney table where we can work in small groups and collaborate on projects in a fun way. My students are always taking notes and writing or planning responses on paper for all subject areas. This table with the added dry erase dots will make it easy to share our work and ideas in the moment, right on the table!
This kidney table will elevate our learning and our ability to collaborate.
Currently we have large desks in our room that makes it difficult to maneuver and get into small collaborative groups. The desks are different sizes and wobble which is distracting for students moving to work together. We hope that you can support our classroom and help us to work together.
