This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Coffee-2-Classroom Club represents a unique collaboration among students with disabilities, with a comprehensive learning experience in managing a coffee cart, covering all aspects from preparation to sales and service. The mission of C2C is to provide job training in a positive learning environment in which every member has the opportunity to gain work experience and life skills through preparing, maintaining and serving coffee to staff on our high school campus. The purchases we are requesting will support the weekly operation of the C2C club.

Aside from creating and improving students' vocational training and building on their communication and socialization, it supports inclusivity on our high school campus.

Coffee-2-Classsroom Club's mission is to create post-secondary scholarship opportunities for students. Graduating Seniors with an IEP or 504 plan who intend to attend a post-secondary institution, such as a college, vocational school, or other accredited educational program, after high school graduation, will be able to submit their scholarship application. In addition, Coffee-2-Classroom is also offering a scholarship to students with more severe disabilities who will enter a vocational program that will enrich his or her life by helping to develop skills that will lead to employment or independent living, build life skills, or in some other way empower the individual to succeed.

Your contribution can help us provide the necessary support for students to successfully operate the Coffee-2-Classroom cart and empower them with valuable skills for their future.
