Coffee and Snack Cart to Build Vocational and Social Skills
Help me give my students the ability to practice vocational skills by selling coffee and snacks to teachers with a coffee cart!

My Project
Self-contained, special education programs often have to explore many creative ideas to expose students to real world encounters. The goal of this project is to help the students in my class build their communication skills, vocational skills, social skills, money skills, literacy skills, and ability to work as a team. I would love for my students to be able to set up a coffee cart for teachers and staff to work on all the above listed skills and more.
The utility cart, cups, coffee pods, and all the fixings will help my students begin their adventure as baristas.
The students in my classroom have a strong desire to feel included and be a part of the school community. This coffee cart business will help them gain a sense of belonging and being a part of the school family.
