Help me give my students Ozobots, which are small educational robots students can learn to control through the creation of color and block computer code.

I teach in the Design Center of a Title I elementary school in Southeastern North Carolina. 100% of our students receive free or reduced cost lunch and many of our students are exceptional learners. As a special areas teacher, I have the honor and pleasure of knowing and teaching all of the students in our school.
In the design center, students explore, experiment, plan, build, and create!
We work hard, try new things, and are not afraid to make mistakes. We use science, technology, engineering and math (STEM), along with the Think, Make, Improve Design Process to design and create all sorts interesting things from animations to electrical circuits and beyond. I love working with all of our students and helping them learn and grow through design and technology!
We have an awesome group of diverse learners who are excited to come to school every day and eager to learn! Our staff works hard to ensure all of our students are exposed to as many experiences and opportunities as possible. I am excited about the possibilities DonorsChoose.org grants present. Our students deserve the best! We are working hard to provide it for them and appreciate your support!
I plan to use Ozobots with younger students to introduce coding concepts by teaching students to create computer code that uses colors to control the robots' actions. Students can draw a black line and the Ozobot will follow it. Adding colors and patterns changes the Ozobot's behavior.
The ability to easily make changes to their programs provides a powerful feedback loop for students, allowing them to experiment and see the results of their decisions immediately.
I also plan to use Ozobots with older and more advanced students who are developing an understanding of block coding. Ozobot robots are versatile instructional tools because they are easy enough for beginning coders, who are just learning about patterns and sequencing, and challenging enough for students who have a basic understanding of coding and are ready to move on to creating programs of their own.
I am very excited about the possibility of adding Ozobots to my classroom! Ozobots are a very powerful learning tool that allow students to test, improve, and learn from their own actions and decisions.
