This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My class has 20 eager students ready to learn each day. From the moment they enter the classroom, they are ready to share new ideas and continue growing deeper into knowledge. Our year-long goal is to become productive leaders within the classroom and the school.

Inside of my four classroom walls, I want to inspire creativity and provide students with resources that challenge them to think outside of the box.

I know my students can accomplish any task at hand in their own unique way.

My Project

My students love to be hands-on all the time. This year, I have introduced my students to coding and having these JIMU robots in the classroom, my students will be able to put those skills to the test.

Coding with JIMU robots means the possibilities are endless!

By allowing students the opportunity to use the JIMU BuzzBot &MuttBot and the JIMU Tankbot in the classroom, I hope to inspire more creativity within my students. Creating codes and actually seeing that code come to life as the robots move will be exciting for my students. Students will be able to develop problem solving skills too. More importantly, students will be learning and having fun at the same time!
