My Students

Our school is classified as Title I with a high percentage of students that are learning English. Despite these statistics, our students strive and make growth. We teach through an IB Primary Years Program. This summer, our school was officially authorized as an IB World School.

Our students' best qualities are their amazing mix of cultures, backgrounds, learning styles, and languages.

Because of these unique qualities, we are thinkers, leaders, makers, and innovators. With support, our students can achieve anything!

My Project

Cubelets are modular robots that allow students to create robots for certain tasks. The robot can then be disassembled and remade for a new purpose. Students affix their creations with built in magnets that also use mechanical and electrical energy. These robots are developmentally appropriate for elementary students to understand while giving them a strong foundation in coding.

Using Cubelets will give our students the opportunity to experience creating and coding modular robots.

By working in design teams, students are also enhancing collaboration skills. Students learn critical thinking skills and grit by working hands-on with this type of technology. Cubelets is an awesome product that our students will benefit from.
