My Students

The best thing about teaching military kids is that they are so resilient. Military kids are just bred differently. This fact shows daily, as my students have struggles that most children would never understand. They move and they remain positive. They leave their friends and remain positive. The students in my class are so strong and always willing to go over and beyond what is asked of them. Technology is just one more way I can serve them in class.

My Project

My students will use this Osmo set as a way to foster creativity and practice their problem-solving skills through hands-on play. It is perfect for the different learning abilities and needs of each individual child in my class. Math and science tie into visual art and the Osmo is a perfect way to incorporate math, science, visual arts and technology in one system. Having a class set of iPads in conjunction with the Osmo will only broaden their knowledge. Through play, my students will apply the skills taught to them in my science and math lessons. One day at a time.
