My Students

My students are so excited to start getting hands-on STEAM experiences in our new Innovation Lab. We will delve into 3D printing, robotics, and programming, as well as many other hands-on projects. It is so fun to watch their faces light up when they see the results of their own creations.

The students are curious and creative, imaginative, and innovative.

I love hearing their new ideas. We are a diverse school with many cultures and languages, and STEAM experiences are great at bringing everyone together for a common goal.

My Project

An important aspect of learning to code and program is being able to visualize and map out the sequences. Since our Innovation Lab is constantly changing, having large white boards is a great way to create a sense of space as well as enable the students to work together to share their ideas.

Having large moveable whiteboards, along with markers and magnets, will help my students to be able to collaborate on their coding projects and challenges no matter where we are.

Also, Teachers Pay Teachers is a great resource for fun curriculum-based projects, and there are numerous coding activities available, as well as designs for new robot mats that the students will enjoy choosing from.
