Coding Moves into the REAL WORLD!

My students need robots to develop their coding knowledge and to move their experience into the real world!

My Students

Our classroom of students are amazing thinkers and explorers. It is wonderful to see a group of students who are not afraid to take a chance, experiment with another way, and ask questions that make, as a teacher, really think. Students are always asking "What comes next?" and this enthusiasm drives the entire class to excel and try new things.

Our students are devouring information and technology as fast as I can provide it for them!

I am continually impressed at the passion for learning that 5th graders have. We are reaching for the stars!

My Project

Our students have been exploring coding through many different methods. We have explored using color as commands and have transitioned this knowledge into blockly coding introducing the virtual world to our projects.

Now students need to bring their experience and knowledge into the REAL WORLD of coding by hands-on building.

These robots use the same programming platforms which students are currently using making the transition into robotic programming smoother.

Makerblock robots will allow students to combine their individual knowledge into group activities to accomplish a common goal. In addition to math and applied sciences, students develop analytical skills as they troubleshoot and record their progress in learning logs.
