Coding in Classroom for the World of Chemistry with Chromebooks

My students need laptops, printer and coding program to transform their learning into life-long experiences in curiosity and discoveries.

My Students

My students at Transit Tech HS are amazing in many ways. We are a school that has students with many talents and we, as teachers, must capitalize on their skills to make their learning process better.

Many students are eager to bring their talent into the science classroom as they would in any other classroom.

Some are very good at drawing, creating models, writing,, and composing pieces of and others at decorating. They'll get the opportunity for this in the many activities I've prepared for them.

My Project

My students are so excited about the opportunity to create models of chemistry concepts that are hard to understand without any visual aids, or to even think about it in concrete form. Using the Intro to Python software in our Chromebooks will give them a chance to do many exciting activities that would enhance their learning of science.

Students will have to opportunity to become more computer-literate in this technology-driven world.

Using the Chromebooks will allow my kids to code and put in tangible form what they can't see with their own eyes, but are discovering as real in the classroom. They have been working so hard to learn chemistry that having the opportunity to put all of their efforts in improving their learning experience, and not whether we have technology available, is a life-transforming experience.

We also want to use the color printer requested to display around our classroom the wonderful work that the students are doing. It is not only to make our room more appealing, but also to show others that my students are making real contributions to the school and to themselves.
